✍️Prompting

Proton Terminal is built to understand natural language, but clear prompting still helps ensure accurate results—especially for more complex or multi-step actions. The better your prompt reflects what you want, the better the system can plan and execute it.

Good prompts include enough context (what, where, how much, when) and are phrased as if you're speaking to a capable assistant who can do anything in crypto. You don’t need to be overly technical, just specific and intentional.

Good Prompt Examples

Prompt 1: “Bridge all my USDC from Polygon to Arbitrum and swap it to ETH.” → Proton identifies your balances, plans the bridge route, executes the bridge, and swaps the bridged USDC to ETH on Arbitrum.

Prompt 2: “What’s the current price, market cap, and 7-day chart for $SOL?” → Returns the latest price, market cap, and a 7-day chart with links to token data, socials, and contract info.

Prompt 3: “Every Sunday at 9am, swap 20% of my SOL into ETH unless ETH dropped more than 5% this week.” → Proton schedules a recurring conditional transaction that checks ETH’s weekly performance before executing the swap.
